Interim Head of the Secretariat, Africa EU Energy Partnership

Has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hannover University of Applied Sciences, and an MBA Degree in Renewable Energy from Beuth University, Berlin, Germany and has over 30 years working in the renewable energy sector and mainly in Africa.
Since April this year working as Interim Head of the Secretariat of the Africa –EU Energy Partnership based in Bonn, Germany.
Before that, was Senior Energy Advisor to the Infrastructure and Energy Department (IED) for the African Union Commission (AUC).
Previously worked in various development programmes mainly under GIZ, in Southern Africa (Zimbabwe, Malawi and Mozambique) dealing with rural infrastructure development with emphasis on household energy, food processing, water and sanitation.
